Copy-And-Paste Foam Text for Parents at Kids’ Parties
It’s almost time for the foam party! If you’ve never been to a foam event before, here’s what you can expect on the day of the big event.
What To Wear and Bring
- Kids should come prepared either in clothes they can get wet in or with a change of bathing suit. (Depending on how much they love the foam, they can get pretty soaked!)
- Kids can either play in the foam barefoot or wear shoes that won’t slip off. They can come to the party wearing anything they want, but water shoes, sports sandals, Crocs, or sneakers used for sports won’t fall off and get lost in the foam.
- If your kid has goggles, bring them! The foam won’t irritate anyone’s eyes or skin, but not having to worry about rubbing it out of their eyes will make the experience more fun.
- Kids should also have a dry pair of clothes and a towel for after they’re done playing in the foam.
- If a child has prescription glasses, it’s helpful to send them with a strap to keep them from falling off in the foam or a glasses case to place them in during the party. Glasses can fall off during foam play and a hard to find when they’re buried under 2 feet of foam.
- And remember the sunscreen! The foam will be sprayed outdoors in the fresh air, not indoors or in a shaded area.
Some Things You Might Be Wondering
The foam is made of sodium lauryl sulfate, glycerol, and water. Those are the main ingredients in dish soap, shampoo, and even toothpaste. But unlike other products, the foam has no fragrances or alcohol. It won’t bother any skin or eyes (even if it’s sensitive).
The foam contains NO latex, nuts, tree nuts, shellfish, animal products, dyes, or fragrances. It’s allergen-free, kosher, halal, and vegan.
If a kid puts foam in their mouth, they may gag or vomit–just like if they suddenly ate some bubble bath. The on-site foam machine technician will explain to them not to do it, but some children try to put it in their mouths anyway and might get asked to sit out of the foam party until they feel better.

It’s almost time for the foam party! If you’ve never been to a foam event before, here’s what you can expect on the day of the big event.
What To Wear and Bring
- You should come prepared either in clothes that you can get wet in or with a change of bathing suit. For a quick dip, you’ll just get a little wet (like if someone misted you with water), but if you stay a while it’ll be like jumping into a bubble bath.
- For an outdoor event, you can either be barefoot in the foam or wear shoes that won’t slip off. You can come to the party wearing anything you want, but water shoes, sports sandals, Crocs, or sneakers used for sports won’t fall off and get lost in the foam. (And don’t wear heels or platforms you could twist your ankle in!)
- For an indoor event, wear sneakers you can trash or anything that won’t slip off and get lost in the foam, twist your ankle, or get ruined when it’s wet. (No heels, slides, collectible sneakers, leather, suede, or soccer cleats. You’ll thank us later!)
- If you’re feeling up for it, wear goggles! The foam won’t irritate your eyes, and we know goggles can look kind of dorky, but what other occasion do you have to wear fun goggles as part of an outfit?
- You should also have a dry pair of clothes and a towel for after you’re done in the foam.
- If you wear glasses, consider bringing a hard case and tucking them away with your things somewhere since they can fall off in the foam and get lost in the 3′ of bubbles. (Or, feel free to switch to contacts. Just bring your eye wash in case, although the foam won’t irritate your eyes if you get some in.
- For an outdoor event, wear sunscreen! There won’t be any shade covering where you are, and your time in the foam will fly by.
